Jamaica DIGICEL’S RISING STAR September 11, 2016 review

Is our little #Monifa going to be the new international R&B Monifah from Spanish Harlem. She has style, personality, a big voice and the ‘consistency’ edge over the other contestants of #Digicelrisingstars. But some persons may prefer the suave of #EltonErlington and the determination of #ANE to be actual rising stars in true Cinderella style.

At last the top there contestants emerged on September 11, 2016. Gifted One left with more maturity and appreciation for the music world. So now its down to Earl Erlington, ANE and Monifah Ross.
The challenge for that night was to sing their entry song and then a song from the Judge’s list.
Although Elton was impressive, he was barely a challenge to Monifah who came on next on both the entry song segment and the Judges list segment. Tessanne Chin was the guest judge for the night and she was next to tears for all three contestants at one point or another.
Oooops Anthony Miller and Conroy Wilson made blunders when they both insisted that Monifa sang the same sounds every week with even Anthony throwing an extra dart at Monifa’s supposedly screeching. Only earlier on August 28, had Monifa moved out of the box on Rock and Roll night rendering a song by Jamaican Tessane Chin which earned her thumbs up by all judges then and a standing ovation for her outstanding performance.
Then it was not even close to the usual expectations of Monifa so sorry Anthony.
